BOTOX on face - Everything You Need To Know About Full Face Botox
People commonly use Botox otherwise known as botulinum therapy injections to smooth wrinkles and fine lines on various areas of the face. And unless you’ve been living under a rock you will have seen the full face Botox facelift trend on social media. Is the full face Botox facelift just another trend of do the results actually deliver?
This guide explains where you can use Botox on the face and what results expect from the treatment. Lets deep dive into the use of Botox on the face.
Where Do You Get Botox on the Face
Botox remains one of the most popular non-surgical treatments in my Wigan clinic, especially for reducing facial wrinkles. Recently, its application has expanded to treat multiple areas of the face.
The latest trend on social media—showcasing ‘full-face Botox’ with before-and-after images of a lifted, ‘snatched’ look—has significantly increased consultations for full-face treatments in my clinic. I’m not gonna lie – I’m loving the results!
Botox Areas
Knowing which parts of the face Botox can treat helps choose the best option not only for reducing wrinkles, but also lifting the lower face reducing the appearance of jowls, downturned smile, smokers lines and ultimately achieving smoother skin.

Where to Get Botox on the Upper Face
Botox for Frown Lines
Botox effectively smooths the deep vertical creases between the eyebrows, often called frown lines or glabellar lines. This reduces the appearance of a tired or angry expression.
Botox for Forehead Lines and Wrinkles
Botox is commonly used to treat forehead wrinkles caused by raising eyebrows. You can soften these horizontal lines, or “surprise lines,” to create a more youthful, relaxed appearance.
Botox for Forehead Lines Before and After
Here are some of our results of Botox for the forehead lines from patients visiting our Wigan Clinic.
Top of the Nose (Bunny Lines)
Botox can reduce the fine wrinkles on the sides of the nose. These wrinkles are called bunny lines. They appear when you smile or scrunch your nose.
Personally, I love bunny lines, so I don’t treat this area on myself. To me, smiling without them can sometimes feel a bit insincere. But I know many of you aren’t fans of bunny lines, so I’m happy to treat them if that’s your preference. Every face is unique, and treatment plans are always tailored to what makes you feel confident and natural.
Hooded Eye Botox Eyebrow Lift
Botox can lift the brows and open up the eye area, providing a more awake and youthful appearance. This procedure, sometimes referred to as a chemical brow lift, helps combat droopy eyelids. This is one of the great results achieved from the full face Botox facelift.
A Botox brow lift is most effective when we avoid over treating the forehead. If you’re aiming for a completely ‘frozen’ look, the brow lift won’t work as intended. This is because the frontalis muscle (which lifts the brow) needs some movement. Over-freezing it can cause the brow to droop slightly, resulting in a heavier appearance.
Around the Eyes (Crow's Feet)
You can treat crow’s feet, the fine lines at the corners of the eyes, effectively with Botox. This is one of the most popular areas for Botox as it helps reduce the visible signs of aging.
Under the Eyes (Jelly Roll)
You can carefully use Botox under the eyes to smooth out fine lines. However, you must approach this area with caution because of the muscle’s connection to lower eyelid movement.
Where to Get Botox on the Lower Face
Botox for Lipstick Lines – Around the Mouth
You can treat the fine lines that appear around the mouth, also known as smoker’s lines or lipstick lines, with Botox. This helps reduce wrinkles that form because of repeated lip movements.
This can also be used as a Botox lip flip that provides a fuller appearance of the top lip providing a plumper lip without using lip filler. With this treatment you can use some slight function of the perioral muscle, this can cause difficulty using straws and alter the pronunciation of some words.
Botox in Chin (to Prevent Chin Dimpling)
Botox can smooth out dimpling in the chin, known as a cobblestone chin, by relaxing the muscles underneath. Using Botox in the chin can also prevent a deep line forming under the lower lip known as a mental crease.
Botox in the Jawline and Neck
Botox can contour the jawline and smooth neck bands (platysmal bands) that appear with age. Most muscles in the lower face naturally pull tissues downward, contributing to signs of aging like jowls and smile lines. This treatment helps create a more defined, youthful lower face by counteracting the downward pull of these muscles.
Jaw Angle Masseter Botox (Teeth Grinding – Bruxism)
Botox injections in the masseter muscles at the jaw can help reduce teeth grinding (bruxism). This treatment can slim the jawline and relieve tension.
A common use of Botox in the masseter muscles is also it contours and slims the lower face.
